Depression and Physical Activity
According to Roshanaei-Moghaddam et al. (2009), physical activity was associated with decreased levels of depression in adult population. Also, physical activity proved to reduce the risk of diabetes, cancer, high blood pressure, and coronary artery disease in adult population (Roshanaei-Moghaddam et al., 2009).
Lack of exercise was associated with decreased motivation which led to depression and developing illnesses like coronary artery disease and diabetes (Roshanaei-Moghaddam et al., 2009).
